Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a Remedial Quotation Administrator to take responsibility for the creation, maintenance, analysis and timely delivery of quotations across a varied customer and account base.
Job Overview
This role plays a key part in proactively engaging with account teams on programmes of work, supporting operational delivery and helping to shape strategies that minimise risk, maximise opportunity and avoid disputes. The successful candidate will operate in a fast-paced, high-volume estimating environment, contributing to accurate, compliant and competitive tenders.
Working closely with junior estimators, the quotations team and clients, you will build strong working relationships while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a detail-focused individual with strong financial awareness and the ability to manage multiple quotations through to successful conversion into additional works.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume estimating activities on a daily basis
- Manage the full quotation process from collation through to approval, resolving queries with clients and internal teams
- Deliver accurate financial submissions for individual quotations
- Contribute to risk assessments, ensuring all risks are identified and captured within tenders and quotations
- Support or lead value enhancement and cost optimisation activities
- Ensure all tenders and quotations are accurate, competitive and compliant with required standards
- Track, report and manage quotations through to conversion into additional works
- Work collaboratively with estimators, account and contract teams to support programmes of work and wider account strategy
Person Specification
- Experience in estimating or a similar role, with solid hands-on estimating experience
- Proven experience producing and managing quotations
- Knowledge of the National Schedule of Rates (NSR)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Good understanding of financial concepts
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to build effective working relationships
