The Role

As a key member of the commissioning team, you will be responsible for executing vendor testing witnessing duties during the works test phase, preparing plant commissioning test specifications, and inspecting site installation to facilitate system handovers. You will lead testing activities throughout the IPC commissioning phase, identify faults, and propose effective solutions. Your role includes initiating and implementing FOBs, validating working level instructions, and applying temporary commissioning aids as required.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

  • Proven experience with SCADA systems, particularly Wonderware In Touch, and control system programming experience with Rockwell ControlLogix software.
  • Extensive knowledge of control system network architecture and involvement throughout the entire software and systems lifecycle, from design to QA and documentation.
  • Expert understanding of nuclear CE&I systems commissioning processes.
  • Project management skills, preferably with membership of APM or similar recognised bodies.
  • Knowledge of calculation production using Excel and compliance with IOSH working or managing safely standards.
  • Relevant safety certifications such as SMSTS or SSSTS, along with an ECS supervisory card.
  • Proficiency in design tools and software, including Microsoft Office suite.
